Set within Bucharest's most sought-after residential enclave, Nordului 56 Park Residences establishes a new benchmark for the city's luxury market. Conceived around the principles of privacy and refined proportion, the development offers a considered counterpoint to urban life: calm, unhurried, and precisely detailed.
Working from the architectural plans and a thorough reading of the site, The Panoptikon defined the visual strategy for Nordului 56 across both exterior and interior visuals. Four exterior views were selected: an aerial perspective establishing the building's relationship with the park, two street-level scenes, and a courtyard view, each chosen to communicate a distinct quality of the development.
For the interiors, furniture and accessories were carefully curated for each space, selected to complement the architecture and draw out the character of the residences.
The Approach
We visited the site early, exploring each space in person to identify the viewpoints and compositions that best served the project's visual and marketing narrative.
Interior styling was developed in close collaboration with the client, their direction and our proposals working in tandem to define the character of each space.
Inner sanctuary
The inner courtyard is the heart of Nordului 56. Conceived as a secluded retreat, the space layers tiered greenery against organic concrete pathways, with natural timber and artisanal ceramics completing its material palette. Working alongside the architect, The Panoptikon contributed to the design of the vegetation and its layering, then translated that shared vision into imagery, with particular attention given to the movement of light through the space and the quiet sense of openness it creates.
Mockup apartment
We designed the showroom apartment in close collaboration with the client, their vision and ideas shaping every decision from the outset.
The kitchen was modelled and detailed to specification, while furniture and finishing elements were selected together: each piece chosen to reflect the character and quality of the space.
